I use these products and services on a regular basis. I’ve had many positive experiences and would recommend them to friends, colleagues and clients.
Why Apple(Mac)? It’s not an issue of speed. It’s more because it runs without the viruses, spam, crashes and constant need for support, reboots, upgrades, defrags and maintenance. Historically the creative industry has favored the Mac platform. I began working on Macs in college back in 1994. I still have a PC – in the far corner of the office, where it gets used about once a week. For clients who use PCs, no need to worry – your Web site and professionally printed materials will look great.
My Mac Pro computer runs Adobe’s Creative Suite (version CS5); 98% of my client projects are completed using Adobe’s suite of software applications, which includes the ad industry standards: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash.
Firefox is a browser built for speed and security. It’s a free and fast little browser. Most importantly, it works like it’s supposed to. I’m also accustomed to troubleshooting problems with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook.
A great resource for building your search engine presence. I recommend using Google Analytics for tracking Web traffic. Google also offers other Web-based tools to help improve search engine rankings.
A good place to get decent stock photography at a reasonable price. For more unique and exclusive-rights photography I recommend Getty Images.
Natural Press is an Oregon-based print company committed to environmentally friendly print production.
Network Solutions offers a good selection of Search Engine Optimization tools, with campaigns ranging from $40 a month to $5,000. For my projects that require paid placement SEO, I recommend using Network Solutions.
If your project requires copywriting, editing or proofing, I will recommend having my colleague Jim Moore of Word Jones involved.
Here is a list of other sites and services that I've used in a less frequent manner and would consider using again:

E-commerce solutions
Tip: A Resources or Links page is a good place to store all that favorite Web information that you've saved over the years. This page acts as a directory of business-related Web sites that your clients and colleagues may find useful. A resource page is also a good way to increase your search engine ranking.
