Project: Web site redesign

Challenge: TDS is well known in the construction/engineering markets for its hardware and software. The company wanted to expand into new markets while continuing to support its existing customers.

Approach: Having designed the previous two versions of the Web site in 1997 and 2001, we were familiar with TDS's background. This project was focused on organization, design and new content production. We consulted with the various departments within TDS and presented several information architecture maps with scenarios. We then developed a new style guide complete with HTML and Photoshop templates. TDS's in-house team used our templates to update the existing site while we provided art direction and new-market content. The site was successfully launched and includes information for eight new markets.
